Wow, that was a monster read! It must’ve taken me a good long time to read through this Stephen King novel. I remember some days I’d manage a page or two every night and I’d do that just to recapture the world as King saw it. I think I started sometime in late January or February and with work taking up most of my day-time, I was left with a few minutes every night to slip sideways into this book and through it into a magical realm.
Some writings feel like a stone falling, with King I felt his story’s pace and style was more akin to a leaf drifting on a breeze.
