So in the ways the pharoahs chopped noses off statues of ones they wanted forgotten, the Egyptian government has decided to stamp out the Mubarak name. Hospitals, schools, parks and other establishments bearing his name will be renamed. And the public fully supports this, it appears!
Here’s a pic I took while riding the Metro in Cairo. The Mubarak station no longer exists. I wonder what the new one’s called.
