In the last few days, I’ve been doing some design and layout work that’s been keeping me occupied. And while doing these designs, I wanted to ensure that none of the artwork was pirated. So my first avenue was to look for open source artwork and images. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that there was quite a bit that was available “open source”. And I discovered Scalable Vector Graphics – basically if you have these, you need never worry about resolution issues when resizing your work! Also with the right editors you can actually take apart graphics made in SVG and reuse portions of it.
